The Secret Buddha

Mariano, der Hausherr, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr viele alternative Reisetips mitgegeben. Die Unterkunft ist architektonisch sehr beeindruckend und jedes Zimmer ist in einem eigenen Stil eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich wohl und sicher in The Secret Buddha.

Die Zimmer und Aufenthaltsräume waren sauber, der Terassenbereich allerdings weniger. Die Zufahrt zum Grundstück ist für Wohnmobile schwierig aber machbar, für Autos kein Problem.

There's a person who cook at the hotel so I saved time looking for places. We're surrounded by nature, birds, squirrels, frogs and other animals which was great. The staff was friendly, we can wash our clothes there and the Buda ambience was nice. Cit was also clean.

The cost of the dinner was a bit expensive in my opinion. There's no lookers to put my things so I had to let them on the floor and on the bed and staying in a 5 bedroom with other people was complex with all the things. It's a bit far from the city, a bus is required to go to the closest metro station and there's only one bathroom for the guests. It could be great to have another bathroom close to the dining area

The friendly host gave us a lot of tips about where to go in Colombia. The furniture is amazing, the garden is beautiful and de dog is a big cuddler!

The location is a bit out of the way (a bit of walking and subway) and there isn't much to do in the area around the hostel.

If you want to feel like you have a Colombian grandma and a Spanish father that knows all the best spots in Medellín come and stay here. The house is wonderful, the home cooked meals are amazing and nothing is ever too much to ask for. Mariano has a divine taste in art, so if you want to be visually and culinary spoilt you know where to book.

It is a little far from the closest Metro station - just a short bus ride.

Mariano has a great place and he's a great host. The place is super unique, artsy and eclectic. Every room has a story and is completely different from the others. I also had dinner there which saved me from going out since it had been a long day of travel. If you like big dogs Leon is super cute and friendly! I highly recommend!
