von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort

Not worth it.

This was a bucket list item of mine. One of my favorite movies is the Sound of Music. Full circle between the movie, watching how it was made and the history tour of the Von Trapps. Highly recommend

Wow and WOW. Breathtaking views, quiet, and do many options to pick from.

The staff were polite, and knowledgeable. The grounds were gorgeous and well kept. The room was comfortable and clean. There could have been more variety in the meal choices. It would have been nice to have an omelette station for breakfast.

Decor was a little dated but everything else was great… staff was great and tour was great

Absolutely beautiful! The von Trapp Family Lodge is worth it. The accommodations were spacious and cozy. Dinner at the Bierhall was delicious. I have a gluten and dairy allergy. There were many choices to choose from, my food came out first with an allergy marker, and I wasn't exposed to any allergens.

Lots of fun so many things to do on property. Room was great had a balcony room on the second floor so you could go out of your room. The coffee shop was really good and we found the cows. The von trapp tour and talk was so good and very interesting. We want to go back to walk the trails and just hang out since we were only there for 1 night.

This property has it all. It is unique not only because of its history, but the location, it's views and how the developers took care of keeping the nature around, their priority. The staff is amazing, a big thank you to Tim at the dining room!

The setting is beautiful the lodge is dated and had steep stairs up to our lofty room.
