Rydges Hotel Port Macquarie

The twin share room was nice and large which was great & we had a lovely view of the pier and water. Also the bar tender (Ben) was great. Nothing was a hassle

No pool bar and also the room fridge, while great that it was stocked with items, as a family we brought some items with us. It would be nice to have the option of an empty or stocked bar fridge.

Beautiful pool area and good food, ideal location to coastal walk

Our first room was a big block in front of windows, BUT we asked for up grade we only paid $40 more but it was beautiful

Room was perfect, beautifully decorated, very clean and comfy and very big. Room service was good. Pool was lovely. Kids had a great time and we absolutely loved our stay.

Unfortunately breakfast was a bit disappointing. The food was decent and coffee was nice but the glasses and plates were dirty. When I sat down at my chair, my hand came away with something brown and sticky from the arm rest and there was a cockroach on the floor in front of the cold salad bar (which staff promptly got rid of). It was sad because we absolutely loved our room and pool and the rest of the hotel. And staff were very nice. Would have been 10/10 if not for the breakfast. Still would 100% recommend staying here, just have breakfast elsewhere.

Good cental location in town. Modern, well equipped hotel. Nice big room.

Having to pay $30 or park on the street.
