Days Inn by Wyndham Laurel MS

The location was great! I loved how close we were to Downtown.

Some of the staff was not very nice and was not informative. We got there, put our stuff away and got dressed for the pool. We were only gone for maybe an hour, hour and a half and our hotel door was opened. We were worried someone came in, we got a knock on the door from a man saying “I’m here to fix your shower.” We were freaked out and scared. It was only me and my little sister in the hotel room, our mom was outside smoking a cigarette. The man did not introduce himself with his name. I was closing the door clearly scared saying no thank you… and he says “ I’m maintenance.” (First, saying “I’m maintenance,” means nothing when you have two women in the room, who are in their bathing suits, wet, scared because anything could happen to us. He could have been a human trafficker for all we knew. He should have “introduced himself” with his name and a name tag!!!! He had no uniform on or name tag!!!!!) I again said, “no thank you.” And attempted to close the door, he attempted to come inside saying “ so you don’t want your shower fixed?” “Let me get my tools.” And basically barged in the room. He was incredibly rude and had no people skills. I was so scared and spooked from this encounter, I went up to the front desk to tell them I didn’t appreciate this at all. Someone should have said something to us when we were checking in to tell us “maintenance” was coming to “fix” our shower. The front desk lady was rude about the encounter too. Apparently, coming in the room with 2 women in their bathing suits is normal maintenance person behavior. Didn’t appreciate how he nor the front desk lady talked to me or my mom.

Everything was clean. Breakfast was good.

Toiletries were minimal. Kleenex ran out.

This was our 2nd visit at this hotel! Very clean and staff very friendly. The front desk clerk at breakfast was helping with breakfast and asking customers if they needed anything.

The girl at the front desk was very nice. She made us some hot, fresh coffee. The breakfast is great. It has all the things - potatoes, sausage gravy, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot water pressure was good.

The internet at this hotel is very bad, so much so that it is useless to go online at all. There was no coffee in our room.
