We are a well travelled couple and have stayed in many locations and hotels around the world and as hotels go Villa Margarita is up there with the best. The hotel has less than 50 rooms and is family owned so you are not treated like a number. In fact quite the opposite. The staff are brilliant. Within a couple of days of arriving the staff had established what are names were, what room we were in, what we liked to drink at meal times, where we liked to sit in the restaurant. They were so friendly and courteous- they couldn’t do enough for you. It really made a difference. Having read a few of the reviews some criticise the breakfast offering. It was fine. The sort of breakfast I would expect to find in a small authentic Sardinian, (Italian) hotel. As you would expect of a European hotel there were meats, cheeses, cereals, bread, ( gluten free if you needed it) croissants, eggs and bacon. What more can you ask for !? We went half board. The evening meals consisted of four courses with 3 options to choose from for each course. There was a fish, meat and vegetarian option per course. It was always very fresh and well prepared. The pool area and surrounding gardens are ideal for sun bathing and if you fancy a drink you don’t need to move a muscle, you simply press a button and the waiter comes to you to take your order. Again, another emphasis on the hotel’s customer service. The hotel definitely deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

Beautiful place and a wonderful hotel! The food at the restaurant is truly spectacular — much better than eating out at other places in the area. The atmosphere caters more to an older crowd looking to relax, so I wouldn’t recommend it for younger people seeking nightlife or excitement. It’s a very local and quiet area — perfect for unwinding.

Familien mit Leihwagen sind hier echt gut aufgehoben. Das Hotel ist gut runtergekühlt und Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel kostenlos. Der Pool geht von 1.20 auf 2.40 und ist echt nice. Viele feiern die Lage total, das war für eher nicht so. Der Strand ist nicht schön und der Hafen eher uninteressant
