Concorde Hotel

Hotel Concorde is good to stay but hotel's around is not safe. One street away from the hotel is not safe. But the hotel is very good, the breakfast is excellent, definitely worth the 12€. There is also a market across the street which is a plus.

5mins walk from Frankfurt main train station. Good location but it’s very close to RLD. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Value for money. Will go again!

Horrible internet connection!! Elevator only goes to the 5th floor so we had to haul our suitcases up and down the last flight of stairs.

The first thing I noticed about my room was that it smelled of cigarette smoke, despite me booking a non-smoking room. Opening the window didn’t help because people were smoking outside of it. There’s a street outside where a lot of homeless/addicts gather, and although they aren’t right by the entrance but it can be hard to avoid if you need to get to/from downtown. The first time I walked by it a weird guy (probably a drug dealer) was heckling me, and two other people were punching each other. One day when I returned to my room, my blanket was mysteriously damp. Also, the security system is quite poor. Anyone can just walk in from the street, and they rely on the receptionist (who may not be there) to manually screen each person who enters. Maybe this would be fine in a safer area, but that clearly isn’t the case here. Overall this place is still a serviceable hotel and not a bad deal if you can get it for cheap, but it takes some courage to stay here. Don’t let that “4-star hotel” nonsense fool you, I’ve had much better experiences in 3-star hotels. If I had to do it again, I’d spend a bit more for my safety and sanity.

Room was good. Decently clean. Staff was efficient. Lighting was kind of unique: you could pick from several colors and one setting made it seem like there was gentle daylight through the curtains. Breakfast was good (variety of breads, sausages, scrambled eggs, fruit, some puddings/yogurts, etc.). But let's talk about location: My 12-year-old had to walk past drug dealers in several directions IN DAYLIGHT. We couldn't find a good way to get there. Construction in the area probable made it worse. It is such a convenient spot-- right next to the main train station. Such a pity about the crime around it.

This is my hotel of choice if I require a hotel in FRA before or after a flight. It’s a 5 min walk from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, offers small, but well appointed and clean rooms. Front desk staff is friendly. Although in a rather dodgy neighborhood,I never felt unsafe.

Unsafe area, paper thin walls with belligerent guests slamming doors all night. This is a 2 star hotel, 2.5 at the most, I am not sure if the high reviews are from bots? This area is knwn for being infested with drug addicts and dealers. Do not recommend nor will I / we stay here again!

Small room, but private and clean. Has everything you'd need e.g. hair dryer, shower, kettle, lift up to room. Card access. Breakfast was really good. Good location close to the train station (but kind of a dodgy neighbourhood, like all train stations)

I arrived late at night as I was in transit and had a long layover. I liked the location of the hotel from the train station as well as the budget! Well, I followed my GPS instructions and walked from the main station in Frankfurt. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the hotel. Check in was very quick and very smooth. The room was a single, so quite small as you can imagine, but it really was just a place to lay my head, shower and leave the next morning. It was ideal! Clean and cool! It had all the amenities you would expect. As breakfast was included in the price, I went down in the morning and enjoyed a simple, yet ample array of dishes. It was enough for me and whilst it wasn't elaborate, I was happy with it. All in all, it served the purpose. Would I stay here again? For a short trip? Yes.
