Edwardian Hotel

Good location for transit, sleeping area small but fine, sink and shower area was very small and made it hard to maneuver at times. Worth it for a cheap solo stay where you aren’t spending a ton of time in the room.

The bed was super comfortable. I was actually really surprised for this price point! It honestly felt like a 4/5 star hotel bedding and pillows. Sheets were nice and crisp too. Bathroom was large and clean. I don’t mind the older style buildings, the lift is borderline ancient but it is part of its charm.

Honestly at this price point there’s not really anything to complain about. The only flaw I had in the room was the power outlets not working next to bed, so I had to charge my phone on the other side of the room. I forgot to mention this on the way out.

We stayed in this hotel many years ago long before it was renovated. It’s haunted. My daughter and I had the strangest experience and I’ll never forget this place. There’s a VERY old elevator in this tiny hotel and when we checked in the hotel staff (ghost) led us to the elevator and up to our room. My daughter and I were talking about how great it was that the staff dressed in old time vintage clothing. We loved that. My husband was looking at us like we were crazy and asked who we were referring to. I said the man who brought us up to the room. He didn’t know what we were talking about and said NO ONE was in that elevator with us. My daughter and I both saw him. We saw the elevator ghost…apparently. Also had a weird feeling that time was different here too. Has anyone else seen a ghost in this hotel? We may go back someday just to see if we can catch the elevator ghost again.

This gave me hostel vibes and not in a good way. No parking onsite. Was not aware it was a 10min walk after you even find parking. After seraching for over an hour. No bathroom or shower in the room. Ladybin the neighborhood told me car windows get bashed in and was not safe.

This is a great property, especially for those simply wanting a clean space for a comfortable night's rest with basic amenities at a reasonable price. My only quip is the hotel windows open but do not have screens. In a hotel without air conditioning, it's reasonable for guests to wish to open a window for some fresh air. However, without screens, it's not a pleasant option given the mosquitoes, if staying during the warmer months.

Close to my venue. No cups. Outdated-Electric outlets don’t all work. Bathroom window won’t close.

Good stay

Location is great. Super value for a clean, attractive room right downtown.

Right on Market Street which is a little noisy. But we knew that.
