The Sea Ranch Lodge

I can’t imagine a more beautiful place for my daughter to get married than Sea Ranch Lodge. The cliffs, ocean, and architecture created a setting that was simply breathtaking. I was blown away not only by the space itself, but also by the quality of the food and the attentive service that made every guest feel cared for. My daughter chose a wonderful photographer, but even the best photos couldn’t fully capture just how stunning this venue is in person. It was the perfect place for such an important day, and one I’ll remember forever.

The Sea Ranch has always been a special place for my family, but somehow we had never stayed at the Lodge until our wedding. Now, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The way the Lodge blends modern design with the raw beauty of the cliffs and ocean made it the perfect backdrop for such an important day. Add in the warm service, incredible food, and event team that made everything effortless, and it was everything we hoped for and more. My wife and I already looking forward to making it our tradition for anniversaries ahead.

Sea Ranch Lodge is truly unmatched—blending striking modern architecture with the untamed beauty of cliffs, ocean, and surrounding nature. What made our wedding experience unforgettable was not just the setting, but the incredible service, delicious farm-to-table food, and the event team that pulled every detail together seamlessly. Even our guests were in awe of the atmosphere and care. We can’t wait to come back and celebrate anniversaries here for years to come.

I stayed at The Sea Ranch Lodge for 3 nights in Sep 2025 for a wedding and it was a magical time. The two-bed loft room was very comfortable for three guests, the lodge staff were attentive and caring, and the grounds were spectacular. A visit is an absolute must if you are in the area and worth it as a destination for a weekend stay all on its own.

I just had my wedding at SRL, and it was truly magical!!! The SRL team was incredible. They were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests were taken care of. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere. I can’t recommend SRL highly enough for anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding experience or just a fun coastal trip!

We've stayed at The Sea Ranch Lodge on four separate occasions and every time has been amazing. The coastal setting is breathtaking, the design and architecture of the property is both luxurious and striking, the rooms are cozy/comforting, the staff is so friendly, and the food at the restaurant is excellent. We love everything about The Sea Ranch Lodge so much that we chose it as our wedding venue. All of our guests who stayed on property enjoyed the experience and had nothing but positive things to stay. Visiting once is never enough! Would highly recommend The Sea Ranch Lodge for any getaway or celebration.

Drive to Sea Ranch is treacherous. Winding road especially on return to San Francisco is particularly bad. Overall, the hotel is okay. Our room had no shampoo, body wash or lotion in containers in our room. Many of the perks you would come to expect after paying 5 star NYC hotel prices for a room are non-existent. With the fog, we could not see the ocean in front of our window. Restaurant was consistent with the hotel. Good but not great. If you are interested in staying at Sea Ranch, your alternatives are an Airbnb or the Sea Ranch Lodge. If we return, I think we will investigate an Airbnb.

We had an amazing stay at Sea Ranch lodge. My husband, 7 year old daughter, and I went to relax and spend some quality time together. When we arrived Gaby checked us in and was thoughtful and left color pencils and paper for my daughter in the room. When we checked in a very rude guest was attacking the front desk and it was really sad to see a person lose it on someone because they didn’t notify the lodge they had kids with them and the house they were staying in was not kid friendly. It was the guests fault but continued to berate Gaby. She handled it well and was very professional. I’m sorry she got treated like that and was impressed with her poise. We will be back again. Ps the food in the lodge was amazing! Best meal we’ve had in years. Thank you chef and support staff ;)

Sea Ranch Lodge is beautiful. Location can’t be beat. And the restaurant and bar are great. Everyone is so friendly and laid back here. I also really enjoyed the gas fireplace in the room and the fact that each room has an ocean view. Hiking trails are abundant and uncrowded.

There is just no place on Earth like Sea Ranch …..

There is nothing about the property I didn’t like and I will be back.
