JFK Inn

this was the worst hotel I have ever been to. we booked a 3 night stay but fled after less than 8 hours of staying there. The beds are stained, the toilet was not cleaned with piss stains and hair all over it. It smells, it‘s loud and the staff was uninterested, didn’t even ask why we checked out early. Please please save yourself the hassle.

More like a motel not really up to par.

This place is a disgrace and an embarrassment to New York. We arrived late off a flight and hadn't booked accommodation. We went to the Hotel Reservation desk in JFK and the lady there recommended this dump. She should be ashamed of herself. We did not feel safe here. We spent the night scratching so draw your own conclusions. We didn't take the free shuttle back to the airport as it didn't seem to be roadworthy. We booked Lyft instead. Avoid at all costs.

Security line was very long could’ve figured out a better system for that would be better

The staff was very polite and efficient but no one helped me with my bags. The room was clean but the bathroom smelled very heavily of air freshener. The address around the. Hotel is sketchy, but I would stay again for the same reason I stayed this time. It's very close to the airport and it has a shuttle to the airport that leaves every hour on the half hour.

Availability and price driven booking. This was not the cheapest priced hotel however. As I only needed to sleep for a few hours I thought it would be fine. Huge mistake. The hotel phones - all four - at Federal Circle pick up do not work. Not the responsibility of any hotel offering pick up here, I am sure they are all aware. Took over an hour to contact the property and have the shuttle service pick me up. Was -6c so not ideal. The property is very dated and very dirty. No heat in the room, again it was -6 and apparently no other room available. The room was dirty, the heat did not work at all. Just cold air. No extra pillow or blanket, bedding was not clean. Room smelled damp and clearly has a rodent issue. Directly below the window was noise from assumably prostitutes. Seemed far too cold for that sort of activity, yet, there is no doubt that was the case.

Convenient for JFK airport, particularly due to the free shuttle that picked me up although it was approaching midnight. Spacious room and okay bed. Otherwise, pretty run down, but clean enough and with standard facilities like towels, shampoo, TV etc. Some lingering smell and traffic noise throughout the night. Still, for an overnight stay near JFK, I would recommend it. Decent value for money.
