The holes in the walls. Poor management. Wouldn’t refund money for nights I didn’t stay after I checked out. What a rip off! Don’t book through Expedia.
Not very clean for the money
This inn was inexpensive but sorely lacking in comfort and cleanliness. The bath was dirty and rusty and I got sick from brushing my teeth even I let the water run,untul it was no longer clean. It woukd have been nice to have been advised to not use the water. Im the morning we noticed they front desk used bottled water to make the coffee. Front desk did not speak English.
Don't stay here if you don't absolutely have to. 1. No clean water meaning it's brown straight out of the faucet. 2. We found blood on our king size mattress sheets (in case you have to get a king size bed be on the look out). The sheets were also torn. 3. Requested a new room and the shower curtain was stained yellow, the chair had brown stains all over it, sheets were wrinkled
It was the worst place we have ever stayed! Would rather keep driving than stay here again even for free!
Toilet was clogged. Water from faucets was brown. Trash in cans. Food on floor. Registration desk unmanned.
Not only did the room smell bad, but I let the water run for THIRTY minutes and all it did was run brown. Half the parking lot was gravel. Stayed in a Pleasant Inn in Brooklyn IA a week later for the same money and it was fantastic...stay there instead
The water was yellowed when we arrived. But they left 2 water bottles, big concern.After game I was froze,water now brown and slightly warm,so I turned up the heat. I would not stay with them again.Even though she was friendly.
This place is disgusting. Stayed after a Hawkeye game, it was late and no other options. The water was brown and rusty so we couldn’t shower or brush our teeth. The toilet did not flush and full of other peoples urine. We had to flush it 4 times just to get it to a pale color. Carpets were stained and sticky and the walk were stained with who knows what. The health department needs to shut this place down. Other people staying also made comments to us about how creepy and disgusting this place is.
