The Pemberton Hotel

Basic, but clean.

it was all a bit tired

The bushland setting in Pemberton offered up a dawn chorus of bird calls I have never heard before. Joyous. The hotel has good secure mesh doors to the veranda, so we chose to sleep with the sliders open rather than air con. This allowed us the thrill of the nearing storm. The percussion was like an orchestra warming up. Locals and visitors would have been disappointed that it only produced a few rain drops. Very comfortable amenities. Welcoming reception staff. Great pub dinner.

Not much to dislike

都很好！设施齐全，车就停在房间外面很方便，隔壁就是加油站，没什么不满意的！

Great location

Limited parking onsite, but plenty in general anyway

Although the hotel is a little on the older side every thing is scrupulously clean and the staff are fabulous on the whole.

The reception was tricky to find from the hotel car park, there is no sign over the back door so we circled the block as we weren’t sure we were in the right place.

The location was very good, and the building had a lot of character. Our room was spacious, quiet, and clean, with a comfortable bed. It also had a fridge and kettle. The bathroom was clean. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs with a good selection of food and drinks. There was a free car park across the street (the private one was full when we arrived, so we parked in the public one). The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no lift, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs.
