Friendly staff ,room was clean ,bed was comfortable .the reason for choosing this motel was for restaurant that is attached but it was closed
Breakfast was ok. There's a scary, overgrown courtyard. This hotel is a dark warren of dirty, smelly corridors. Fitness room closed at 10pm. We came home with bed bug bites. Hotel should be torn town.
Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The property was dirty and unsafe. My room smelled like cigarettes when it’s suppose to have been a “non smoking” room. The staff was friendly and helpful and upgraded me to a better room. Unfortunately even the suites where horrible one of the restrooms didn’t even work. The sheets and pillows smelled like cigarettes. Carpet was sticky in certain areas as well overall horrible hotel i don’t recommend.
Nice room and bed. Excellent restaurant that serves a very good walleye dinner. Minor problem, toilet needs a new flapper, since it runs once in awhile.
The pictures showing the hotel were not at all of the hotel. Misrepresented ! The 8.2 rating showing very good was not even close. The motel is old. The bath tub filled with water as you showered. The handles for the shower are old and hard to turn off. The lobby smelled like smoke. The room had a stange odor. Bed was comfortable. Draperies were torn. Hard to get the room dark. The morning breakfast was pretty good. Didn't know I could add photos or I would have shown you. For $140 + it was NOT worth it! I feel duped by the rating and photos! Will not stay again!
Mix up with the reservations between hotels.com and the actual hotel. We ended up paying more than our original reservation because the hotel could not find the hotels.com itineraries. Will not be using hotels.com ever again.
Upon arriving the parking lot was horrible. The interior of the motel..especially the hallway was trashy. The first room we were in smelt like pure smoke. The ladies at the desk were amazing and put us in another room right away. The next room was better but everything smelt like musty. My husband found dog food on the floor. The bathroom still had hair on the sink and floor. I did not complain anymore as the ladies at the front desk were so nice. It would not be a place that I would ever come back and stay or recommend to any family or friend.
I found long hairs by bathroom sink. Bathtub was too sleepery. The rest was all clean and neat. I liked the good AC device.
Noisy, dirty , staff nice but fridge was making loud noises, aircon was terribly outdated. And then making a booking with expedia for Mankato but they book you in Albert Lee!! Never ever ever again!!
Run down building. Staff not super professional. Breakfast hard to find and unimpressive.
