Fosshotel Lind

Location - excellent; it’s so convenient to access everything in the city, but it’s not on the Main Street so it’s quiet and you don’t hear all the hustle and bustle Breakfast - we had a super early flight and they made us a to-go breakfast which was incredibly kind of them and had it ready for us at checkout at 5:15AM! Room - beds were pretty comfy Service - the staff were really incredibly friendly and helpful - so nice and kind!

Overall the room was kind of old and musty, had a weird smell (not the water / sulphur smell, something else), and just felt really not modern (the key thing is weird - it said you had to lock it but then it auto locked but then sometimes it did open if you pushed hard but it wouldn’t lock with the key? Felt unsecure with the lock). The shower was also annoying in that there was no separation for the shower floor from the rest of the bathroom, so when you showered the entire bathroom floor got flooded.

We loved this very comfortable hotel with a lovely breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's situated in a very convenient place in Reykjavik, and is good value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel is in a perfect location and the parking facilities are a big bonus. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean and the breakfast was brilliant.
