Super 8 by Wyndham Carthage

Motel was adequate for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was minimal, but there didn’t seem to be many people staying there.

Chose it because it was pet friendly. Grassy area close to door, although had lots of dog poop. Breakfast was minimal, but coffee was good. Recliner in room was broken. AC worked great.

The bed was not comfortable at all the stay was ok they are renovating I think they should have said that on the website when I pulled in it looked like the place was closed or condemned no cars around but overall it was ok

Not much

We arrived at this motel after a long day of driving. After checking in with the lovely lady at the front desk, I finally get to my room, busting to use the facilities. After flushing, the toilet immediately flooded and blocked. No, it wasn’t due to anything I deposited.. back to the front desk and a room change is made with no problems. Into the next room, I unpack and get myself settled before heading out to dinner. Back to the room, I’ve showered, sorted all my things for the following day, I’m in my PJ’s and excited at the prospect of a good nights sleep. I pull back the bedding only to be greeted by numerous long black hairs and obvious discolouration on the sheets where someone has slept. Disgusting. I get this is a budget hotel but are we asking too much to have the sheets changed between guests?

The front desk people were great. So friendly and polite.

The sheets were dirty to much hair on the bed 🛌 and the floor dirty

Staff is friendly

AC unit in each room was not on when I arrived. The unit in one of our rooms was not working. Lack of furniture in the other rooms, no chairs no table, smaller refrigerator.

Rooms need to be updated with new AC in some rooms. Furnitures needs to be added.
