The room was clean, the area was not crowded, there was a little outdoor sitting area that was nice and the flat creek ran right by the hotel. Friendly staff.

"A very nice budget stay in Black Mountain"

This was a budget hotel with very basic amenities, so I didn't have unrealistic expectations. What I got was a very clean room with an aging bathroom, a good TV, a nice addition of hooks for hanging things and lots of electrical outlets. Free coffee in the lobby, but not in-room. A very loud, but efficient AC unit.

An in-room coffee pot is always nice.
