This is the place to stay when skiing at Monarch

I loved everything, especially the pool.

The price was wonderful because it had a decent breakfast including eggs. The coffee had a great taste. There were 3 hot tubs and a good temperature in the swimming pool.

Staff were easy to work with. I had concerns bc the office is closed overnight, but that worked out great. The motel is a little older but don't let that fool you, They are well kept and clean. A great value motel. I will stay again.

They only thing I didn't like, because it was different, was all keys deactivate at 10am checkout time and one must go to the office for re-keying. That process was actually a good thing in that you had an opportunity to interact with what I assume are the owner-operators.

No housekeeping. Windows could be cleaner

have stayed here at least 5 times over the past 15 years - comfortable, predictable, stays updated, easy access - I will always stay here when in Salida - I love Salida - one of my favorite towns in the USA
