"Good value on a long trip."

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room and surrounding areas were clean. The room was comfortable for the price of the stay. Right next to a cornfield and a busy street, but quiet (except for many birds chirping and singing in the cornfield early in the morning, which sounded lovely.)

This is a reflection on all lower price properties that offer breakfast without a protein option, including this Super 8. Luckily I had brought a carton of eggs I'd boiled at home, with exactly this issue in mind. Some of us prefer protein to sugar to start our day.

"It was a below average experience and I will never stay at a Super 8 or Wyndhum"

The room smelled like smoke although it said "non-smoking, there were bun marks in the carpet and the other room we paid for had lights and a toilet that didn't work properly. Also the "breakfast" consisted of English muffin, coffee or hostess mini donuts and no fruit.

"A clean quiet budget motel"

This Super 8 motel checks all the boxes for budget hotel, just off of a freeway. Our room was clean, quiet, the beds are OK. Keep in mind it is a budget motel. I find complementary hotel breakfast disappointing this one even more so. The price is right so I shouldn’t complain about the breakfast which was just cereal, doughnuts and I think they had a waffle maker. There is a huge Wally’s truckstop, convenience store about 400 yards away, which has everything under the sun, so I’d recommend grabbing something to eat from there instead.
