Super 8 by Wyndham Big Cabin/Vinita Area

The receptionist was professional, efficient, and respectful. However, the building and room were terrible. The building is not well maintained. The door to the outside did not close or work. I felt unsafe. The room was put together "ok," but there were stains on the chairs and carpet. The bed was not terrible. The bathroom was clean. However, as I mentioned, the building and room are not kept up and they look old, stained, and run-down. They need major upgrades plus, and more importantly, have security even if it's an economic Super 8. Your customers need security.

I had a really good stay. Room was very clean and staff was very nice.

The location was fine. Centered between a few different towns, and not too far from Grand lake.

The rooms were small. The pool was freezing. The hot tub wasn't operational. The first room they put us in had a terrible odor, asked to be moved. The manager was reluctant, but did. The second room didn't have an odor, but the toilet ran for a good while each time we flushed. We found food in the drawers of the dresser, left from a previous guest. When we finally pulled the sheets back, there was mouse feces on the sheets. I do have a video of that. Getting anyone to come to the front desk during daytime hours was a chore, I needed keys reprogrammed and had to find a housekeeper to find manager to come to the front desk. I will not book at this property again.

Even though it was close to the turnpike it was quiet and pleasant with a Love's convenience store right next door!
