GBCharacter in abundance, comfy bed good shower places to eat and drink within walking distance. Staff were so informative about the area and hotel. Nice old style cinema across the street.
Nothing that was a problem for us, I did mark it down on facilities for not having a pool purely for consistency with other hotels I have rated. It wasn’t far from the railroad either which probably had two or three trains a night running but again wasn’t an issue for us .
USLocation was wonderful. We never had to move our car. Hotel was in walking distance of restruants, coffee shop, wine tasting room, boutique and antique stores.

I liked everything!
What a charming environment. 100+ year old building with original wood and brick in many places. The decor is reflective of the era the hotel was built. Tall ceilings, fireplace in the room, large bathroom. Nice lounge for appetizers and cocktails on the weekend. We were warmly greeted and Vickie was extremely attentive and accommodating. We could not have asked for anything more. It's a very safe little hamlet and we are glad we decided to stay.
USUSNot only is this hotel, beautiful, but it was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the owners made us feel so welcomed. They were very accommodating for our wheelchair user and we enjoyed our lovely room and the fabulously appointed common areas! Can’t wait to visit again!
My wife and I had such a fabulous time at The Grand Hotel in Hogansville. I took her there for her birthday, dinner, live jazz music, and a stay at the hotel. The live jazz music was outstanding. They performed in the 1890 room. Jordan, the bartender, served excellent drinks and the service and hospitality of Grace, his sister, and host/server was outstanding! The 1890 Room offers a variety of appetizers and drinks. And their food was delicious. The Grand Hotel is just beautiful. If you haven't seen it, it is worth it. It has been fully restored back to the 1890s look but with the modern comforts. Just lovely. We love the high ceilings, the period furniture, the cozy nooks to have a cup of coffee and play chess, the marble slab shower, the delicate light fixtures and hardwood floors restored back to its luster and shine.
