Knights Inn Hurricane Mills

Horrible place. Please read all reviews. They make a lot of excuses for the uncleanliness of the place. The mildew smells in the rooms, the toilet's not working properly. Would not recommend this place to anyone. And will not be staying here again. I posted a review on Google and the owner pretty much called me a liar. That was not appreciated. They did not offer me another room that was non-smoking or I would have taken it. I spent a long day and wanted to rest for the ride home. Instead I drove five and a half hours home. The place was unrecognizable because of a broken sign. There were hardly any cars in the parking lot but no other rooms were available. The room smelled the mildew so bad that I went up to the store and bought a cinnamon broom to try to cover the smell. It did not work while I was there but I left the broom hoping it would help with the smell for the next poor customer that gets put in that room.

Nothing

It’s was dirty and run down. The box spring was black all the way around. The underneath had holes dug in them. The carpet was dirty and out dated. Most of the rooms were unstable and the ceiling was falling in. Some of the rooms had the mattress blocking the windows. Staff was unwilling to give another room or money back. Was unwilling to try and help. Went across the street to Days Inn and the manager was amazing and very helpful.

Nothing

Unclean, never cleaned our rooms, had to take our own trash out & get our own clean towels, staff was EXTREMELY rude & not helpful at all. Light blew out in our room and they wanted us to change it, toilet didn’t work & tub was disgusting and beds were nasty & horrible

Yes the hotel is an older hotel but it was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and the owners are very nice.

i liked we were 6 miles from loretta lynns ranch.

no breakfast, no coffee, no pool, no kleenex in room, no ice machine working, took awhile to get hot water going. bed was squeaky

Not worth it

Stayed here for one night while travelling through Tennessee - I'd booked two rooms. The lady behind the desk was very helpful. Others have mentioned that the motel is currently undergoing renovation. We must have had rooms that still had to be renovated - though the furniture / decor was very dated/tired, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The price for the night, though still relatively cheap, could have been a bit lower as while on our road trip, we stayed at motels costing roughly the same and had coffee/grab & go breakfast included.

Cleaning

The room was not in good shape. The bedside light fixture did not function correctly, and the toilet did not flush well. The top of the comode needed to be removed to flush the toilet.
