Ainsworth Inn

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. The outside temperatures peaked at over 100 degrees during our stay. Our room was clean and the air conditioner, while challenged, worked well. Our room was actually chilly when we woke the next morning. Their ice machine was out of order, so the hotel owner offered to go across the street and buy a bag of ice for us. I only needed a little ice for my drinks, so I told him not to worry. The hotel staff had some ice in a personal freezer that they shared with me, which was very thoughtful of them.

The facility is showing age. The reclining chair in my room was unserviceable-the beck was bent back and the reclining mechanism broken. Air conditioner did not cool well.

Friendly staff. New owners so I'm sure more improvements are planned.

The lady who worked the front desk was very nice, but the room was not clean. We had to have our bed sheets changed because they had grass, hair, and boogers on them. The breakfast was also not good; we skipped it. The room decor was a kinda fun esthetic. The TV did not really offer much as some features did not work. The door latch was weird and the front desk employee had stories of people wandering into other peoples rooms; that was her explanation for the dirty sheets. We used hangers to make sure the door was secure. In case you are wondering, this was our only choice in an hour radius with bad weather coming so we could not camp.

This is a hotel that has passed its prime. It’s one of those “you get what you pay for” hotels. Enjoy at your own risk.

Floors in hall were not clean

This place is a dive and has gotten worse over the past few years (if that is even possible). Only 2 hotels in town so not many choices. I can't believe the health department allows this place to stay open. There was an open drink in our frig, a frozen dinner in the freezer and an old key in the drawer. TV was unplugged from wall and tub was like a slip and slide. Front desk lady had no manners. Told we couldn't have a room on upper floor because the construction workers destroyed it. If the Rodeway Inn isn't available next time we come through town, we will keep on driving. This place is sketch!!!

Our one-night stay was pleasant. Although the exterior of the building does not look like a palace, it was clean and cozy inside, the room was big and clean, the bed was wonderful. The staff was friendly.

The girl on duty did her best but they could not find a solution for the air conditioning not working in our room. It was a pretty warm night. They could not find another room for us they could not discount our bill they were full of saris. It is not the girls fault she did a good job but the management need some better policies

We got to the hotel around 9 p.m. ready to get off the road and was told the airconditioner did not work. And they had no other rooms to put us in. But the lady that was there was nice and helped me get a refund for the night.
