Low rate, clean rooms and decent coffee. Those are the positives. "Breakfast" is underwhelming at best. My waffle tasted weird. No fruit but you get what you pay for. Would it bust the budget to have whole wheat bread? Property is is shoddy condition. A black tarp with white paint splatters covers some opening in the breakfast room, with the sill of the opening covered in dust. The filtered drinking water jug has been empty the entire time we've been here, and when you ask for water, they offer a small bottle – for a dollar. The property attracts some folks facing hard, unhappy times. A woman has been sitting out of the way in the breakfast room for hours. The night before, a guest with two kids was arguing loudly at midnight, promising to pay soon. Despite these challenges, the motel operators are pleasant. If you can afford it, go to a nicer place. If not, suck it up, and bring some fruit and filtered water. Happy to be heading out soon.
