Circle S Motel

It's a Super 8. I didn't expect the Taj Mahal. But my bathroom was 'hairy'. I don't think it was cleaned since the last guest or two. But the bed was very comfortable, and the rest of the facility was clean. The hotel is older and in definite need of a cosmetic makeover but everything was functional. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and it was quiet at night.

Oh, my. We were desperate for a place to stay for the night. It was 11:00pm and this was the only place we could find off the highway. This place is disgusting! I didn't want to take my shoes off, it was dirty and in major dis-repair. Not worth the money we spent for a few hours of sleep. Breakfast was not up to the standards of other Super 8's.

The only nice thing I have to say about this place is I was able to have a hot shower. I checked in late (about 10pm) and the front desk person seemed very inconvenienced as they mentioned I was the last check-in and it was late and they wanted to go to bed. The room was very musty smelling and humid. The bathroom toilet rim had urin on it, the tub calking was dirty and cracked, the shower curtain wouldnt stay closed because the rod was installed incorrectly. They had exactly 2 towels for me and my boyfriend but only 1 washcloth. There were 2 bulbs burned out along the vanity. Only 2 of the 3 lamps worked and one of those lamps had a blue light bulb so it was hard to see in the room and one of the lamp shades had stains all over it. There was bubbling and peeling paint on the wall around the AC unit. In order to fluch the toilet you had to hold the handle down until after it flushed completely. I didnt trust the clenliness of the bedding or anything in the room for that matter. Our door wouldn't latch shut so we had to slam it multiple times (which obviously irritated other guests and another guest showed me a trick to close the door quietly explaining the doors dont fit right in the door jams so you had to lift up on the handle and push the top of the door in to get it to close and latch. The only reason I stayed was because the only other hotel in town was completely booked. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There was mold all around the window and on the back of the curtain. There was a very musty smell. The toilet had urine spots all around the top. Tub had hair in it. Ran to Walmart up the road and bought lysol. It helped some. It is very deceiving from photos. Not a place we would ever go back to.

Cheapest hotel in town. It is what it is.

The owner was very nice.

The hotel was very run down, it needed a lot of updates. Our room smelled terrible of mildew. The shades on the lamps were yellow, and there was a big stain on the ceiling in the bathroom. It looked like the bathroom above had leaked. The back door heading out of the building was zip tied open, so it didn't lock so anyone could come and go.
