TV was broken. The room stunk. The bathroom was dirty.

My mind is blown. We spent just about $200 ($188) for one night for a room that had AC that smelled like burnt hair and a lock that was literally off the hinges. I will only relate my one experiences but I’ve only stayed in a room once like that and it was about $70 in a bad suburb of Kansas City. Not an up north MN town where people vacation. This was the worst room I’ve ever had for $200 a night? We took pictures of the lock.

Good: The check in staff was great. She was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Bad: Normally I don’t stay at super 8 because they are not good but this place had very high ratings, surprisingly. So I thought I’d give it a chance. But I don’t know what people are comparing it to because I’d give it a C- at best overall. Stains on sheets. Was very loud in several rooms earlier in evening. Sink drain barely drained. Entrance and halls in rough shape. Hairs in washcloths. How people could rate it 5 stars on cleanliness, etc. and give this a rating of >8 out of 10 on the hotels app is crazy to me. At least it was fairly quiet through the night. Back to my original assessment of the hotel chain, won’t stay at super 8 again.

The location is easily located. The experience was bad from the lack of food at the breakfast to the shower that would not drain and dirty room, we had mold in the bathroom Only one of the outlets works I had to buy an extension cord to plug in a cepac machine.

I knew booking a room for the NHRA Finals would have a cost. But over $250 USD for this place is honestly unacceptable. Our carpets have been wet since we arrived, like wet wet - and nothing they can do about it as no rooms available, room is extremely humid - AC unit works nicely though. Bathroom is tiny and old and shower curtain doesn’t keep the water in the shower, towels that were dry are now wet it’s so humid in here. The sink doesn’t drain with a crap. Front desk area is extremely untidy (boxes/racks everywhere), and unprofessional - associates not wearing a uniform, name tag, or even moderately acceptable attire (sweatpants and stained t shirts), on one night there was a baby with the worker. King room had 2 tiny pillows. Walls are very thin so you will hear everything. Not again. We wouldn’t return or recommend to anyone. This place is a complete dive, major renovations need to be done, the charges even during their busiest week of the year are criminal.

No breakfast except waffles, I had to go out to eat.

For the price I could have gotten clean towels at least without going to the front desk and asking.

Terrible breakfast if that’s what you wanted to call it bad pillows and it stunk like bleach

Breakfast was good bed was very comfortable close to other food options

It was wonderful very clean staff was polite and great breakfast in the morning also great price
