Budget Host Inn Buffalo

The property is a bit dated and the rooms do not have microwaves, only a mini fridge. Guests need to share one microwave in the common area which is an inconvenience. Staff will come knocking even with "do not disturb" sign on the door which is rude especially when a person is sleeping. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. We have stayed here on multiple occasions. One week, the key card system to get in the rooms was down, had to either leave room open or have staff let you in each time and didn't receive any kind of discount. After that the cable TV went out for 2 days and again, they would not offer any discounted rate. Staff just said "These things happen sometimes." 😡 Idk, if you are on a tight budget, don't mind some inconveniences and when something isn't working on the property - oh well - then this might be suitable for you.

Hotels locking system went down for a week and we were told to leave our room open during the day while i was gone. I myself locked the door and unfortanatly i had to wake hotel staff to let me in at 2-3 in the morning. They cant expect me to leave my belongings open to whom ever is walking by and wants to take a look around!

this is a transient flop house on the 1st floor in exchange for cleaning. Guests stay on the 2nd floor and no elevator so lug your bags up the stairs. Everything is shabby in need of repair, they tried to bill me twice for a one night stay.

Small-town motel and it Hasn't got any really good updates in ever! The pictures on the walls were nice!! Colorful bedding gets a thumbs up. But it'll do if you need a place to stay. Just remember enjoy your toast!

Our room didnt look anything like the photo. The bed was on a metal frame with a maybe 5" mattress pillows maybe 2" a scruncy blanket on top. Air conditioner had so much mold coming out of it you could see it between the louvers. Light by the bed had a short in it so wouldnt stay on, carpet was so stretch out it had buckles in it. Bathroom was clean tho. Ice machine didnt work. It never did get fixed before we left. The emergency exit door was left open all night which we thought was strange. No one at front desk except to check in then were told the list of donts. Breakfast was cereal and toast. This is a Wyndham motel and they had a sign on front door stating you would not receive points staying here. Look elsewhere rate was crazy and definetly not worth it.

Smelled like air fresheners trying to cover up mold, dead mice and human stench. Would not recommend anyone stay here if you value your health and safety. Also spent 200 bucks and didn’t even. End up staying.

If you are looking for a luxurious room this is not for you. If you want a good night of sleep for at an economical price, then I recommend this motel. The staff was helpful and kind as well. Due to the pandemic breakfast was limited to a small selection.

This motel is pretty worn out, it is as clean as it can be. Everything was in working order. Amenities have been trimmed back, too bad the price can't be reduced accordingly. Property is clean outside.

Nothing was fantastic but nothing was bad either. Everything was great...location, price, accommodations, service. Met my expectations of a super 8. I will likely return with my children for future visits...the room I had had two queen beds and a twin and was spacious. It was even right by the pool.

The so called breakfast was 4 kinds of boxed cold cereal. . Coffee was hit and miss as far as being hot. As for the hot tub and pool. The pool was cold, the hot tub luke warm (my bath water is hotter). As far as anyone at the front desk--no way!. You had to call a number and then, and I am assuming it was the manager would show up. Not a friendly person at all. If you had a question about something in the area (such as whether the local area had something, you had to call because NO one was ever at the front desk. I have 2 toy poodles that travel with me all the time. I was charged 120.00 for them for a 3 nights stay. I do a lot of traveling for business and this was the second worst hotel I have ever stayed at! The so called housekeeping, well that's stretching it. Sheets were never changed. Vacuuming of carpet was not done (this I know since I have a way of putting small things on the floor to see if this has been done) I am a a fanatic for cleanliness. Clean towels were left as well as the little shampoo bottles The bed was another issue. It sagged terribly so you had to lay in certain areas to be comfortable and believe me that was tough even though it was a king size bed.
