Super 8 by Wyndham Winona MN

I have stayed at this hotel several times. Since new management took over, several wonderful changes have happened. The renovation is beautiful. The room was definitely clean when we checked in, the new floors are beautiful, and the water pressure in the shower is MUCH improved! We love the artwork on the walls and the new bedding. The breakfast options are much improved as well!

The clientel which cannot be helped smoking weed right outside the doors, so you have to walk through it to get to the building. The hallways also smelled strongly of it. At least we could not small it in our room.

Adequate. I personally did not go get breakfast. My partner did. Just yogurt and banana. Nothing to get excited about.

There is no closet or hangers. We had to go to the Walmart and buy hangers. No iron available. We had to ask to have fresh towels and our trash emptied. There was a guest who was sitting outside at the table who was obviously drinking and had passed out, and wet his pants. I thought he was dead. We had to inform the desk people of this situation, but they informed us that he had been there drinking since this morning, and we came upon him in the evening so he had been out there all day drinking. Strong smell of pot and cigarettes when we entered the building. I will steer clear of this place and not recommend it to others.

It was conveniently located and was clean enough.

There is an odd smell. I didn't notice it after sleeping overnight. But when you leave and return it's there. It's not musty or like smoke. But something between that. And the toilet paper and tissues were thin and rough.

Was very cheap and good enough for a one night stay

Very dirty, it stunk, felt very dirty and staff made me feel very uncomfortable
