Super 8 by Wyndham Rock Falls Sterling Area

We were surprised by the limited food options compared to other Wyndham hotels. Also, the staff knew that although the only basic food to eat was cereal, the milk ran out and no effort was made to get more.

If the only basic food offered is cereal, at least make sure you have enough milk.

Amazing staff that was always there to happily meet my needs. Front desk, house keeper and overnight clerk all did an amazing job during my stay.

We stayed for two nights. I want to express my appreciation to the general manager of the hotel, for his able assistance in resolving a change of service request I had for Hotels.com. While the Hotels.com AI was very frustrating and difficult to communicate with regarding my issue (it was a nightmare), the hotel manager was extremely helpful and the mission was accomplished. The hotel was very clean, we had a restful stay, and the folks working there were very kind.

Bathroom is very tired. Gap between floor and tub.

No hot breakfast, dirty, no smart tv.

I wasn't very happy that I was charged $35 more for second night. Also was very disappointed in the breakfast, some people don't like cereal that's basically all that was offered and banana.

All other local hotels were booked and we had to settle for a room here. We booked a suite in hopes it would be decent. The couches were stained and dated and the floor felt as if it was sinking. Musty smell and had to get an air freshener. Beds seemed fine. I took the top sheet off and put over the couches to sit. When I woke up I saw a single bug crawling on the top back of the couch. When I got closer I realized it was a bed bug. I killed it, called the front desk and got out of there after dropping the bug off to the front desk. I was told it didn’t matter if I brought the bed bug to them and they’d let management know. I left my number in hopes they would refund but never heard from them.

The bed was comfortable. Room was Hot air conditioning was off . Chair had mutiple stains . Bathroom old and stained yellow. Furniture scratched up. Room key had to be reprogrammed. No elevators. Had to go to front desk to pick up the only iron and board available. Wont stay again,pay a little more and get a better hotel.

friendly staff, comfy bed good restaurants near by, Walmart across street , convenient location, was very clean, as we walked in lobby was nice and clean, was greeted with a friendly front desk clerk (i forgot her name) ,
