Smelled like smoke, arguments in the parking lot at 3:00am -cops called, looks dirty, hole in wall.

The room was dirty. The blanket had a nasty stain or substance. The clerk offered to send someone to change the blanket, but i was already 30 minutes late to my event. Then, at 4 something a.m. what sounded like a waterfall occured. I got up to see water pouring into my room from the upstairs. I called the front desk and he contacted the man above me to turn off the water. The bathrooms and part of my room was flooded. He offered to get me another room, but at 4 a.m. I was not comfortable walking around outside with a strange man guiding me. It would have taken at least 2 trips, and my sleep was already disrupted. I just wanted to be in my room behind a locked door. But there were several loud pops and i lay awake worryingaboutan electrical fire. The next morning the water had receded some, but the bathroom light was like a strobe light. The manager refused a refund and offered me another room. But i had deadlines to keep and that wouldn't work. It made my trip miserable. And the motel is very run down.
