Easy access, Friendly Staff. No breakfast, did not feel safe had to put chair in front of door. The air conditioning was very Loud and did not cool off room, room was clean,

There ere roachs in the bathroom, the bathtub was so so nasty would not take a shower or bath, only good thing was front desk staff was nice. Room was not ready when we got there. Would never stay there again!

Lights burnt out over vanity Broken light switch cover by door. He also said my room number out loud and the location. Thankfully I was the only one in the office. As a female traveling alone I didn’t like that potentially someone could have heard.

I know when I read a review and it begins with "STAY FAR AWAY" I'm like okay, your exaggerating. I solemnly swear I am not exaggerating, stay far far away from this place. My family and I are on a cross country trip, we are moving from Arizona to Florida. First off, Texas takes forever to get through. So 7 hours into it, not including all the stops for gas, food and restrooms, we were tired and thought "let's get a cheap hotel for the night". Cheap is the word but for the quality, $83.45 to stay in this dump is way too much money. Pulling up immediately you think, bates motel. The pool that is advertised is not the pool you get. It's old and neglected, damaged and empty. Filled with tree trimmings, dirt and trash, there may have been some broken patio furniture in there but I'm not certain, I didn't stare at it incredibly long. Upon walking into the office, you feel instant regret. It's dirty and dated. Now it's time for check in cause hey we're tired, hopefully the room won't be that bad (haha just wait). The guy at the front has greasy messed up hair, wearing oversized filthy clothing and cannot speak in complete sentences. I was only trying to make conversation "how's your night going?" He acted as if I invaded some sort of personal space bubble. He complained about how hectic and crazy his job is and then acted offended and said he's not going to tell me why its that way "I don't like talking about those kind of things... this is my job... my... you know... it's just... yea" Sir, I was just creating meaningless conversation so there wouldn't be awkward silence. $10 charge per dog by the way We finally get out of there, we get to our room and it's absolutely filthy, no pleasant surprise just disgust. The walls have never been washed, no smoke alarm, no iron nor ironing board. The bathroom vent caked thick with dust. The towels look worse than my cleaning rags. Rat feces on the floor. The carpet will turn your socks black. We had used shampoo, no conditioner and 2 bars of soap. After getting to our room the front desk guy bangs on the door like an officer with a warrant, so we open it. He hands us one towel, we never asked for another towel. I understand he saved us the trouble of having to go to the office because the room is only equipped with 1 towel and 2 washcloths and that is it. But I just had a discussion with him in the office where he asked if I needed one bed or two and I told him I booked with 2 adults and children so yes I need 2 beds, so what good would one extra raggedy towel do me? And I didn't request it. I believe he does this as a way to check on you. In the office he was complaining how everyone lies about their dogs. So he spies on you. Later on, we went to go outside and there he was, Mr. Creeper in all this glory, standing just past our vehicles, directing in front of our room (104) smoking, facing our door. Whhyyyy?? Out just past the parking lot, there's a storage container and all outside of it are broken pieces of tile. Be careful taking your pet out to relieve themselves, they could get cut on those sharp pieces of tile. I would never stay here again and I don't recommend anyone else to either.

Since I was traveling for work and limited to where I could stay, I chose this based on the reviews and photos. First off, it looks pretty sketchy when you pull up. Pool doesn't look anything like the photo. Check-in went fast, but lobby was super messy and cluttered. The room looked like it had been updated at some point, but walls were simply dirty. Everything else was clean. For the price, I thought it would be slightly better, but it served its purpose. I enjoyed the fact a Mexican restaurant was within walking distance. It was quiet at night and I slept soundly. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again just because I like a step up from that.
