"15th Anniversary"

We went to Buena Vista, Co. Visited Princeton hot springs. We also went to Salida and walked around town. Went to see the ghost town.

Room had some maintenance issues - bedside lamp and outlet didn't work, bathroom sink didn't drain at all, shower flooded the bathroom no matter how the curtain was pulled, and the hair dryer was loose from the wall, causing a shock hazard with the soaked floors. There were stains on shower curtain and chair. Employees were kind and the hotel was quiet but felt very overpriced for the room provided. Breakfast was short but food was fine, better signage or info at check in would be a good addition.

"Pleasantly surprised by the quality."

Have had bad experiences before with Super 8s, but took a chance on this one since prices elsewhere were ridiculous for this location. Anyway we just wanted a place for one night so we could get an early start hiking next day. Glad we stayed. It was a good experience. Check-in smooth and friendly, room somewhat updated, all was well!

I really like Buena Vista, CO, but it is sometimes difficult to get a hotel room there. I know Wyndham owns Super 8. I just wish this hotel was a little more Wyndham and a little less Super 8.
