Quality Inn Gastonia East

I cancelled my stay at the property after attempting to check in. There was nobody at the reception to check guests in. I waited almost 45 minutes walking around looking for help together with several other checked in guests looking for front desk service and I gave up and cancelled my reservations and booked another nearby hotel for the night.

Beds were clean

Sub Floor in bathroom and under the bed about to collapse - quarter round in bathroom broken due to sagging floor. Covered with new flooring though. Woman in next room screaming inside and outside until 3am and back again at 8am. Right over office and no one addressed. Parking lot did not seem safe. Drink machine wasn’t cooling.

It seemed like a welfare or homeless hotel.

I had to give 100 dollars for deposit when I checked in on Saturday an I still haven't received my deposit back.

The room was fairly clean and no bugs but this hotel is hard to get in and out of. There was trash on the ground in the back of building and in the stairways. Someone had dumped spaghetti at the bottom of the stairs. People were partying all night. Lots of people living there. A woman living there started asking me for sunglasses, aspirin, and money. I would not stay here again.

Needs updated. Miserable breakfast and coffee

Update the place and clean it

The room smelled of thick cigarette smoke and the door didn’t fully shut so I could hear everything in the hallway.

Convenience reasonable expectations comfortable, better than described by reviews.

Floors and bathtub could have been cleaned better prior to stay.
