Super 8 by Wyndham Greer/Spartanburg Area

This was the only motel closest to where I needed to be and didn't cost over $100/night. Thumbs up!

I had asked ahead of time for a room on the opposite side of the entrance (away from the road and lights) Didn't get it. Clerk stated all those were taken. Hmmm..only 4 cars in the parking lot at 5pm on a Friday. Possible? Stayed through Sunday night and the lot never got more than 1/3 full. Entire building carpet should be replaced. Very worn and honestly a bit dirty looking. Especially in my room(always wore slippers) My room was clean(except worn carpet) and spacious and honestly quiet.. Bathroom clean(sink cracked though). The TV stopped working and the clerk said they would check it out(after I left I guess) Breakfast? Cold(stale) cereal, packaged(small) pastries, make your own waffle (not healthy) juice, button-push coffee dispenser machine(better than the room single serve) ... Mehh! And a previous reviewer stated a smoke smell on the 2nd floor. Yeah, there is one. Now, interestingly, there is a glass door separating one end from the other. My end had the non-smoking signs on the doors. My ASSUMPTION, is the othe end would be smoking. Either there were some really heavy smokers down there, or that partition doesn't work, or someone cheated and smoked in the wrong room. (You did have to sign a pledge not to do that when checking in) But that, with the carpet, gives the impression of just not clean, 2nd rate, transition work crew/trucker motel. (NOTHING AGAINST TRUCKERS! or work crews...keep America flowing!)

All the people working there were very friendly and kind and made our stay more enjoyable!

Room had a musty smell, but it was very hot and humid outside as well.

Pet friendly I completely understand. However, barking all night long is absolutely unacceptable.

That they force you to pay a pet fee. When it doesn't say on booking.com that there's a pet fee, they charge up to a $150 pet fee.

Location was good very clean and staff was very good especially the house keepers the older gentleman and lady I love them.

That they want allow you to change the inputs on the tv for yours kids to connect there ps4 ect or your work laptop I had to bring my monitor from work

Perfect location for my boyfriend and I to hook up after work or for a quickie on our lunch hour. It had a certain…smell. It’s not necessarily bad, just distinct. Like fabuloso and decades of adultery. Anyway, on our previous meetings at this location, we had simultaneous orgasms and we attributed to the smell. Well on this latest trip, we noticed that the scent had changed. It almost smelled, dare I say, clean. Now, if this were just a regular old hotel visit I would be happy about this. But, alas, it wasn’t…and I’m not. We did not have synchronous, earth shattering orgasms this time 😔 which confirms that it was indeed the smell. In conclusion, please revert back to your old methods of cleaning so that we may continue to explode in unison.

Overnite lady was awesome, very smart and helpful

Charged me for a light pink shade on a towel, handicap tub spray was broke, no elevators, 3 doors to maneuver through with no help, $20 per dog per night is excessive
