Super 8 by Wyndham The Dalles OR

Didn't have the breakfast, but the area looked very clean and inviting. The beds were fine, but the a/c unit was a bit noisy and showing its age. The staff was friendly and check in/out very quick. We've stayed here several times before and have never had any problems.

The a/c unit is old.

Easy to get to - good location

Elevator did not work - we were on on the 3rd floor - packed our luggage up the stairs and the keys they gave us did not unlock the doors - back down the stairs to get keys that would unlock the doors - back upstairs and the photo shows you the room #309 that they never cleaned from the day before back down stairs to show them the room that they had checked us into - they put us in another room but never apologized but did blame housekeeping for the mishap and never even went upstairs to verify or check the mess in the original room 309 - they put us in 312 which was clean and ready for occupancy - very unorganized situation

We booked so that we can have breakfast. They were redoing the kitchen that morning with tile, which was fine. Things happen. They said they would have options to go. They had fruit that looked past it's prime and a gross looking pastry. There was cold coffee in the canister. Very sad and not edible.

In the parking lot there was 4 guys hanging out by a storage unit. They had a fire pit and were just hanging out. It was very weird. Why would you allow people to hang out in your parking lot, like it is their back yard.

Good location

The staff accused my guest of stealing and refused to rent room to me again, even though I wasn't involved and it had nothing to do with the room.
