Spark by Hilton Lakewood Denver Southwest

Stayed at the Spark by Hilton Lakewood Denver in Oct 2025, Room 323. Staff was very engaging, especially Drea who sought feedback on the stay more than once. Problems with the room, noted below, were reported with understanding manager and maintenance would be notified. - The exhaust fan in the bathroom was inoperative. Switch on ... nothing would happen. - The faucet handle for the tub/shower was very loose. It needs to be tightened. - Light in the bathroom was very dim. It either needs a brighter bulb or something is awry with the power to the fixture. - This is a major one -- the grout around the replacement tile in the bathroom is coming out and the tiles are loose. It appears a problem was addressed in the past as a section of the tiles were replaced with different (color and shape) tiles. Those replacement tiles shift when one stands on them and the grout around them is deteriorating.

The location met our needs, staff was friendly and met our expectations.

I was surprised that this location was affiliated with Hilton. It felt like a much lower end motel chain.

The elevator was terrible, and the stairs were inconvenient to access

Great location and nice room with everything we needed. Plenty of parking.

The walls and floors must be super thin because we could hear everything when anyone walked around. We were on floor two of three floors, and were next to a stairwell. Heard people all day and night going up and down the stairs and walking above us. Couldn’t sleep at all but beautiful room

This hotel appears to be a remodel but they have done a good job. It is neat and clean. the rooms are a good size and include a small microwave and refrigerator. You can buy snacks and drinks in the lobby. There is also a cold complimentary breakfast consisting of cereal, bagels, muffins, hard oiled eggs, juice and coffee. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay that is clean and comfortable, this could be it.
