Super 8 by Wyndham Tallulah LA

IT was nice and had a nice and friendly staff dont have to wait in line

I think the staff is doing the best they can with the facility they have. Everything is just so old, dingy and worn that it just LOOKS dirty. I also feel that the price of $85 is OUTRAGEOUS for what should have been a $50 room. I have to return to Tallulah, but I’m not sure I’ll be staying there or booking through Expedia.

I had a 3 night stay. Each night I had to go back to the office because my room keys were not working. The two maintenance issues I reported after the first night were fixed be the time I got back to the room. Staff was friendly, helpful and apologetic about the issues with the keys. I did not book here for the breakfast but was not up to what I have had at other Super 8 locations. I booked because it was about a 10 minute drive to where I had to go each day. AC worked great. Room very cool and comfortable when I got back each night even with the 90+ days. Internet speed was far better than many places I have stayed. The DirecTV was nice to have.

During booking a room it didn't specify that we booked a smoking room wish stunk so bad, but lady at front office was really nice and came to spray our room with air fresher

There are only two hotels/motels in this area. I was forced to choose one since my moving truck broke down and I had to wait for hours to have someone to come fix it. This is the definition of creepy trucker hotel. The toilet did not flush, the bedding had cigarette stains (non-smoking room mind you), the room had a foul smell, the towels were a dingy yellow, the door did not fully close even when locked and chained, and to top it all off, it was WAY over priced. Now thats just to briefly state the condition of the motel. After checking in and bring my bags to my room, I had multiple guys follow me toward my room and try to talk to me. After one trip of having that harassment, I didn't even want to go back outside to get my belongings.. I had to walk around the building multiple times and try to hide from guys who were hollering at me and following me to see what room I went in to. Just so you know, I was wearing a longsleeve shirt and shorts that go a half an inch above my knees, my hair was a mess, and it did not look in any way that I was staying there to exchange money for sex. Since it was my only option seeing as the other crummy hotel was booked, I really had no choice but to stay here. I have never felt so unsafe at a hotel in my life. I did not sleep at all, which made my drive to Texas even worse. I would never have my worst enemy stay here.

Room was quite comfortable and nicely furnished. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
