Econo Lodge Decatur - Atlanta East

It was very clean and stocked. My only concern was the bathroom door locked itself (if door fully opened, the push mechanism on the door handle was compressed against the wall and locks the door if it is closed) and my husband and I didn't realize it till 1:30am, the staff came to unlock it so i appreciate that. It Didn't look too clean or safe from the outside but once in the room i was pleased.

They juice don't was cold. They beds were confortables. The bathroom was too small.

The advertising and advance photos and information did not fit the actual facility and condition. It appears they had just recently changed management or were lacking in training of the hospitality industry standards. I assign some blame for this to the Expedia site and how it vets and monitors the sites that it lists. Do people actually ever go out to these places?

The lot was torn up . Most of the asphalt was missing. The ice machine was not functioning. There were cigarette holes in my comforter. The shade was falling off the rod. The ice bucket was dirty, the stopper for the sink was missing, only one soap was given. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and the shower was good. I did not feel safe at this location because of the disrepair and lack of customers. The owner was polite.

In the battle of Internet vs Reality, Reality won out here. I rolled the dice and got craps. The room looks almost nothing like the photos. Missing are the dirty walls, chipped ceiling and a door that's seen better days, oh and not to mention the holes in the curtain and the dirty baseboards. On the plus side the bed wasn't horrible the toilet flushed and the water pressure was so-so. Best of all I didn't see bugs of any type in the room. So basically you see 2 stars under $100 a night and that's exactly what you get. The photos are not completely the truth here. Take it or leave it if your on a budget.

This property should not be on Expedia it's a dump. It seems as if it's a hotel that houses homeless people. The conditions in the room were horrible and smelled really bad. I asked for a refund and left. It had holes in the wall, a rusted bathroom, broken AC unit. horrible place
