Days Inn by Wyndham Manassas Battlefield

The price was ok. The room was clean. Floors remodeled - laminate. 24 hour staff.

The neighborhood wasn’t the best but it was quiet. Some guests actually live at this hotel. I am a 55 year old solo traveler. I am not a problem. However, the day after I left the hotel charged me $100 incidental fee. I called and a man named Michael (not sure if that’s his real name) said I was charged because I left “cigarette ash” on the pillow. I informed him that I DO NOT SMOKE- never have smoked. I told him it may have been my black hair gel that washes out. I also asked if a pillow would warrant being charged $100. He said it didn’t matter and that “incidentals are incidentals”. He said he will check with the housekeeper and get back to me and the hung up on me. I called back to get his name and he admitted he hung up on me because I “wasn’t listening to him and he had a line of customers”. I was not rude. I’m waiting to see if this ridiculous charge actually post to my card or if I will need to dispute it. I can tell that this hotel is accustomed to having a certain class of guests. I met a few at “breakfast”. They seemed grateful for the bread and juice. Breakfast was more like communion. Bread for toast, cereal and toaster waffles. Juice and coffee and sugar. No sweeteners, no fruit or fruit cups and no yogurt cups. Definitely no meat or even boiled eggs. It was just pitiful. I don’t know if they get a subsidy for housing people but something was just off. I hope they do the right thing and do not charge me $100 for hair gel on the pillow case that will easily wash out. I am really upset that I may need to dispute this.

All I can say is the room was clean. Other than that it needed repairs. Lamp shades were broken. Wood was rotten in the bathroom.. Sink was terrible and needed repair.

Nice hotel, upgraded to new room..door to room was hard to open kept getting jammed, water pressure poor, mircowave didn't work, clean room

The room had a strong order when I walked in and after I turned the air on and sprayed air freshener it was better! I think the carpets hold odors and when it is warm in the rooms the odor is strong. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable, the staff was pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast did not have many options, but if you are looking for a quick fix it will do the trick!

Room was clean but dated. I paid for a king size room, but was given a double which we were not informed of but we had somewhere to be so I left out alone instead of complaining.

I will say the staff was absolutely fantastic. However there was mold in our bathroom, water stains on the ceiling in the room, stains in the carpet in the room, the tub was consitantly dripping even when the shower was 100% turned off. The company needs to upkeep the property better. The staff was really the only positive note I have on my stay.

Beds were good.

No water! Very poor and sad breakfast offerings, no decaf.
