The 1 staff member was friendly

No hot breakfast was offered not even cereal or toast and no room service /stay over service wasn’t told until after we paid and checked in no discount or upgrade offered as a courtesy for the inconvenience

"Very friendly staff, but the pool was cold"

We liked the alarm on the room door. It let us know when the door wasn’t fully latched or when our kids were trying to escape.

We went to that hotel specifically for the pool. However it was very cold. Our baby was shivering the whole time so I had to take her upstairs and run her a warm bath too get her to stop shivering. It was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. The hotel itself was also very cold until we turned the heat on in our room.

Old hotel in need of many updates. Toilet did not flush, TV did not work. There was food on the walls that just had not been cleaned. The kids loved the pool and the bed was comfortable. Took a long time for checkin. There was no staff present for approx 10 mins. Would not stay here again.

"It was ok"

It was ok. Check in and check out were good. Pleasant staff. I mean, it's not a five star so I was not disappointed in any way other than the the lack of a form pillow. I didn't ask for another one so maybe they would have had one for me. Cleaning staff was friendly and breakfast was ok too. It was a little pricy in my opinion but I guess everything is these days.

"Exceptional stay at Super 8 Slave Lake!"

Such Wonderful friendly, helpful, professional, accommodating staff! SUPER clean suite - very well stocked!! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Pool was so clean and fun!! I will be back. Only point of improvement I would like to suggest: - we were in ground level suite and it would have been nice to have an additional SHEER curtain to be able to let in the sunshine and retain our privacy - instead of us keeping black out curtains closed and using artificial light.
