Super 8 by Wyndham Bedford

Room, bed and bathroom were clean. Convenient to my destination. OK for a one-night crash pad. Royal Farms and Hardees across the street.

Cheap construction. Noise from neighboring room. No elevator, not handicapped accessible to second floor. TV picture quality very poor. Odor of cigarettes. 2 light bulbs burned out. Basic continental breakfast, no coffee after 10 am. Price was $83 after taxes...on the high side of what I would expect.

Basic but clean. Carpet had been removed, and replaced with LVP flooring. The building is very cheap construction, so walls are thin. The neighbor's phone alarm went off at 0700 and it sounded like it was right next to my head. Two light bulbs were out, and the TV quality was very poor, but we were just crashing for the night, so I didn't complain. As noted by others, there is NO elevator, and we were not advised of this in advance so schlepping luggage up the stairs was tough for us old folks. No assistance was offered. Free breakfast was basic, but ok. A waffle maker, bagels, bread, cold cereals and yogurt. Wanted a coffee for the road, but breakfast area was secured promptly at 10 am. There is a Hardees and Royal Farms directly across the street, so we went there. Total bill was $83 with tax, which was high for what it was. Not much else to choose from unless you go into Lynchburg or Roanoke. Would I stay again? Only if I had to.

It was a basic decent breakfast. Waffles, oatmeal, grits, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt and cereal. Coffee and tea also provided. Beds have been recently upgraded and are super comfortable now. This is my second stay at this location and the beds left much to be desired last time. The owners are definitely putting work into the building and rooms, and I honestly look forward to seeing the next round of improvements. This is a safe, secure, budget friendly hotel with comfortable beds.

While they have updated beds, the rooms still need some work. Ours was a non smoking room, but smelled of stale cigarette smoke. There is mildew on the shower ceiling but I didn't speak to the desk as I know it's a work in progress.

Comfortable bed. Recd $20 off the bill bc the hotel had no hot water at all in the morning.

No hot water, disappointing breakfast. Carpet hadn't been vacuumed, bathroom floor had significant hair, not ours. Dated. Heater wasn't accurate so we woke up sweating.

smelly and the guy working the front desk is extremely coarse and rude won't stay again as long as he is there

The rooms were OK clean wise. It had a bad small. The icemaker didn’t work. The complementary breakfast was horrible.
