"You would be better off staying in a motel because it’s cheaper and much nicer."

The location of the hotel is great.

The rooms were dirty. They smelled strongly of menthol cigarettes. The light fixtures and bathroom fixtures were metal and covered in rust. The bathroom was covered in pubic hair. The doors to the hallway have large gaps at the bottom so you can hear the conversations of everyone walking by. Most of the male staff in the lobby were rude. They were short when asked questions and disrespectful when dealings with issues they created.
