AmericInn by Wyndham Black River Falls I-94 on ATV Trail

I couldn't stay at the property. Checked in then immediately checked out 5 mins later. Safety was a concern. The hotel was very dark with no lights on at the far enterance. It also appeared there was little to few others staying there as there were only two cars in the large parking lot. Lights in the pool area were off too when I drove up at 8:20pm. Upon entering I was told the hot tub wasn't working, which was why I had originally chose this location. My room assigned was at the far end of the building and there were NO lights on around that entrance which I was instructed to use. There with a man sitting in his van outside. I sat in my car deciding what to do and also noticed ripped screens and broken blinds. I went back to the front desk and checked out. I was told to have Expedia call & they would issue a refund. I ended up staying at another hotel.

I had some minor broken things in my room which i photoed day one so they wouldn't charge me they didnt. There is no elevator so if you have a disability make sure you request a 1st floor room ahead of time. Overall it was decent fairly clean we were there a week and housekeeping only came once. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The breakfast was basic. The staff were friendly. I would book again.

The guy working the front desk was rude. The hot tub had dirt and dead bugs floating in it. There were only two towels set out for the pool. The room had stains on the bed sheets and you can guess it, more dead bugs littered throughout the room. The bath tub already had water in it, which was off setting. The prices online were much cheaper than the property rates and they do not match it. There was no ice bucket in the room so we asked for one. This property felt neglected and unmanaged. I would highly recommend staying at any other hotel in the area other than this one, and I hope by me taking the time to review this stay will allow the property another look at the customers experience and expectations.

Nice front desk staff - allowed early check in.

The property was beat up and un kept. Our room was dirty when we arrived and stunk so bad the 2nd day we left. We had booked a 3 night stay and only stayed the 1 night. Fecal matter on the underside of the toilet seat, etc... Breakfast items were pretty much non existent, everything was out, "sorry for the inconvenience." Super disappointed

The room was very rundown. There was water in the tub when I got there the towel rack on the wall. You could tell It had been tore off the wall and just kind of screwed back on building was in bad shape

The property needs a serious update. The screen on my window was broken and I was a bit worried being on the first floor. It was not dirty but I would not say it was super clean or updated either. The whole place needs some work. If you just want a place to crash.. it works.

Breakfast: No decaf coffee, Limited scrabbled eggs and didn't like the fact that the cooked eggs were peeled and floating in water. How long were they there?
