Super 8 by Wyndham Booneville

Walking into the motel to check in, there’s nobody at the desk. You can smell curry cooking nearby, and the TV is blasting Bollywood movies so loudly that it feels like the entire lobby is part of the show, because the owner lives there. The beds have metal frames that squeak, pop, and bang at the slightest movement, so even shifting in the middle of the night wakes up the entire room. To make things worse, the owner parks their vehicle right in front of the check-in area, taking up half the lane. It clearly makes their own entrance and exit convenient, but it leaves paying guests less room to navigate when checking in. God forbid he walks 50 feet to park his vehicle. The property feels neglected, management seems indifferent, and the overall experience is frustrating. You’d be much better off staying in Tupelo.

Didn't even bother going to breakfast because I knew it would be a complete lazy disaster.

About to go to bed, so far good, hopefully its a place i can come back considering a track i race at is close to it.

The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and well presented a nice place to stay for a reasonable price.

Location was good.

Breakfast was average at best. Toast, English muffin, cold cereal, orange or apple juice, packaged oatmeal made with hot water, fruit and coffee. Never got the TV to work at all. I guess you needed to be a technician to figure out how to get it to work. Very disappointing.
