Super 8 by Wyndham Pompano Beach

STAY AWAY! Seriously, this place is a disaster with signs stating "under construction" and it is not!

Walking into the Hotel it's presentation was good. Once checked in as you head into the hallway (any of them, I checked)a musky wet carpet smell mixed with a gentle touch of febreze begins to overtake your sense of smell little by little.... Walk into your room and the odor intensifies even further, as a bonus you may find a couple of burn marks in your bed sheets possibly from a smoker?. Staff was friendly, and the location is excellent too but that's about it.

Busted flooring in bathroom, no iron, one towel for two guess. Rug covering floors ragged. Continental breakfast was a coffee pot in the front hall and what looked like cupcakes and cookies. No orange juice, no hand sanitizer, no fruit.

This was not as advertised, the pool was closed, the bathroom was in a poor state, very noisy sitcom that was ineffective. Curtains hanging off the track, cigarette burns in the blanket. We didn’t stay for the full length of our booking due to the poor condition.

Old and gross

Close to beach. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

I reserved a room with two queen beds. When I arrived, the very nice afternoon front desk clerk wanted to put me upstairs. That was unacceptable as I had several large cases and boxes of paper products and lugging them upstairs (with no elevator) would be overly burdensome. Leaving them in the car overnight was out of the question as their parking lot was open to the public. He graciously moved me to a handicap room that he said was "the only room left on the first floor." Full bottom floor? I never witnessed another guest at the hotel in the two days I was there. The first night, I slept in. Went to the lobby for coffee. There was an almost full pot on the maker so I poured a cup. It was tepid (apparently, it had gotten turned off. Went back to my room and drank it quickly. Went back to the lobby for a refill and the pot was EMPTY! I asked the front desk worker where the coffee went. He DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT ME as he mumbled "It's past 9:30." I said incredulously, "You threw out almost an entire pot of coffee?" AGAIN, he DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT ME as he mumbled "It's past 9:30." I wasn't "warned" when I checked in that the coffee would be DENIED TO THE GUESTS right at 9:30am (even if there was an ample supply left). If you're reading this, you've been warned.

Property overwhelmingly smelled of cigarettes and filth, both in the room and in the facility. The blanket on the bed had cigarette burns. The carpet appears to have never been cleaned. Difficult to breathe and stay in these conditions

Terribly dirty, smelled bad, odd front desk staff that made us uncomfortable, overpriced for a terrible experience.
