"Nothing Positive about This Motel"

I called and made a reservation. When I checked in, later that same evening, I was told the rate was higher than I'd been quoted for my "confirmed" reservation. When I said "o.k., but I was quoted the lower rate", the desk clerk copped an attitude and said the regular rate was much higher. I had a couple other issues that night also with the room. Each time I contacted the night clerk (tall middle eastener) he was dismissive. The room was not in order. One of the lights was missing a bulb. One of the lights didn't work. The TV had limited selections and the "guide" to the channels was inaccurate. No "Do Not Disturb" sign. One was not available at the front desk, either. The breakfast was lame. A lesser version of what is normally at a Super 8. No bagels, no English muffins. So, overall, a big letdown, even for Super 8.
