Park Inn by Radisson, Quesnel

Well located, easy to reach

You could see there was some refurbishing going one. But overall it looked a bit rundown with furniture and stuff standing in some corners.

Did not even stay overnight, so no breakfast!

So, the room was dusty, windows smudged with handprints, enough towels for 1 person! The smoke detector/CO2 detector was removed from the ceiling & in the dresser drawer. 4 pointyscrews protruding from the dresser drawers! Was supposed to be no smoking(allergy). The smoking table was right outside our door with the smoke drifting into our room. Unable to tolerate so we left. No drop box for the key! No one in the lobby & the phone outside the lobby didn’t work!Totally unacceptable!!!!!

Location was good.

It’s in the process of being renovated and the room was not ready to be rented. Only one electrical outlet so I had to unplug the microwave to use the coffee machine etc. The “free breakfast” left a lot to be desired. A toaster with two types of bread, two types of cereal, over ripe bananas and cold coffee that ran out. I grabbed a yogurt and left. Overall pretty disappointed. I understand they’re renovating but they were not ready for having bookings and their breakfast offerings were dismal. I hope they up their game given that they’re sinking money into renovating. I also booked at what I thought was the Quesnel Inn only to find it is now the Park Inn and I therefore drove by it when trying to find it.

The hotel was very well located along my route, which made my trip very convenient. I also really enjoyed the breakfast — it was fresh, good, and a great way to start the day.

The hotel felt like it was missing some care and attention. I noticed that the window frames had been painted very poorly, with paint left all over the glass, almost as if the work had been done carelessly. It gave the place a lack of charm and created a disappointing atmosphere overall. It honestly made me wonder if the rooms were cleaned with the same level of attention to detail.
