The Arancia Villa

The view and swimming pool of the villa was so good .

Living Room no air-conditioning, they provided us only the fan , it was so hot (33 c ) , my room , the air-conditioning was not working since my first day , so I couldn't sleep inside the room .

The house maid was there to meet us when we arrived. The house was clean and we had house keeping every day. The rooms are spacious and the view is the wow factor. If our children had been small it would not have been suitable as 3 of the rooms are independent of the main villa. All rooms were double and spacious. The decking and infinity pool were amazing.

There was no way we could have walked about as the road was too rocky and out of the way. Although I don’t think i would have liked to have walked anywhere in Nusa Penida.

Très belle villa avec piscine et vue imprenable sur la mer et Bali au loin. On est dans un luxe exquis. Bel agencement de la salle de vie. Les chambres sont très confortables avec de belles salles de bain. Le service est aimable et disponible. Pour manger le soir, nous avons commandé dans les restaurants environnants. Pour chiller au bord de la piscine, on aurait préféré des transats plutôt que des poufs inconfortables. La wifi pourrait être meilleure. Séjour d’anthologie pour nous dans cette magnifique villa !

The view from the villa is amazing. The pool and front of the house overlooks the sea with Mt Agung afar. You get to enjoy the sunset, I am not sure about the sunrise as we didn't wake early enough for it. The master bedroom bed was massive. The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are on the upper level, and are not connected, so they seem like separate apartments. You can see them from the sea. There is a helipad, if that's your preferred mode of transport, you have the option. The villa looks like it does from the photos. But the photos do not show the age and wear of the actual villa itself.

The location was extremely out of the way. Almost impossible to walk to get a meal, let alone basic necessities. There was an ant problem in the kitchen. Anything left on the kitchen island would be besieged by them in a matter of minutes. We couldn't use the island except for super speed touch and go moments. There were even ants in my handbag on my way back to Sanur. The villa showed signs of wear and tear, not what I would have expected for the price I paid for 4 of us (almost SGD$1000 for 2 nights). The worst part was the extremely rocky and steep road to the villa. It was the only way to the villa, and your car will burn rubber and get its chassis dented on its way up the road. Our first experience up, the car was empty save for 4 of us and driver. I feared that the car was going to roll down and crash when the driver couldn't rev us past the rocky road. We could smell burnt rubber and petrol. Because of its location, we had to order in all our meals. There was a restaurant just in front of the villa, but it was inaccessible. The info booklet said that Castaway Cafe was a 2 min walk away. We tried looking for it, walking into the woods. It was getting dark, and we could not find it, although GPS said it was just there. I called the restaurant and unfortunately we could not understand each other enough. The whatsapp number on the info booklet was not in use. I would not have chosen this villa had I known all of the above.
