Beds were comfortable

Old building with our room half in ground. Very damp. Facilities need major updating. The room was as clean as an old hotel could be. We reserved a two bed room, and at first we were given a single. They said it was Booking that made the error until I showed them the confirmation. Also claimed to waive extra fee for two bed room, but I paid for the 2 bed room on Booking. Carpet Carpet in downstairs floors was filthy. Manager needs attitude adjustment.

When I walked up to the front door there was someone smoking weed outside. I’m pregnant so I had to hold my breath as I walked in. The room was clean but the carpet was dirty as all. I felt gross walking on it. The bathtub was dirty, the fixtures around the room were rusted. I can tell the hotel attempted to look nice, but the images don’t capture what the rooms actually look like. I wouldn’t stay here again

We stayed 2 nights and didn’t have any problems other than really loud guests on our floor. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Everything in the room worked, refrigerator was a good decent size and kept food & drinks cold. Didn’t use the microwave. Tv was a good size and worked. A/C worked great and kept our room cool. Room & bathroom were clean. Lobby is always open as it’s one of the doors to go in and out of. They do have a vending machine with snacks & drinks which is nice. Only things I didn’t like was there are 3 floors and NO elevator. You have to walk up stairs to get to the 2nd & 3rd floors. They have carpet throughout except for the first floor hallway, the carpet is nasty and disgusting looking. The guy at the front desk did mention they are planning to take the carpet up in the future. If they put new floors down throughout the halls and rooms, I would probably stay there again for a night or two. It’s in a good location, close to lots of restaurants and shopping. They do have plenty of parking which is well lit at night. There are train tracks very close and apparently a train comes thru late every night because we heard it both nights around 11pm-12am (it’s pretty loud).

Hotel room was dirty, carpets were so old we were afraid to walk on it. There was no elevators. Outside people were standing around like there was some “dealings” going around. There was Marijuana smell in the hallway. Everything was outdated.
