Super 8 by Wyndham Mentor/Cleveland Area

They had my favorite type of chair, which made the pupil in my eye roll into the back of my head turning it into the optic nerve itself ohh Emm gee. The staff was wonderful, welcoming and pleasant and we will be staying again soon. Time to do jumping jacks!

Stayed overnight while traveling through the area and rented a smoking room. While checking in, we noticed the motel was under construction and there was quite a bit of dust. The desk attendant was polite. The room was rank with the smell of stale cigarettes, even for the smoker in our group. It was a bit dirty, but nothing crazy. We were worried about bed bugs because the room looked and smelled dirty, but thankfully no unwelcome guests were there! The pillows are tiny and uncomfortable, and the beds are stiff. For anyone around 6', the bathroom sink will be difficult to use as ours sat at around waist-high for the tallest one in the group. God forbid you are any taller. I deducted an extra star for the experience checking out the following morning. A man was ordering around two cleaning staff, so I assume he was the hotel manager or someone similarly high up. We were preparing to leave (at around 9am, mind you! Well before check-out time for sure) and had exited the room to grab a bite when he asked us, quite angry-sounding, if we were "leaving yet" -- as if we were past our check-out time. I know it's a Super 8, but it was still incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary. Suffice to say we packed our stuff extra quickly and checked out early. Overall, it isn't as cheap as I would have liked for the experience, but it worked for a cheap pit stop. I wouldn't stay here more than a night or two.

Quiet and convenient

The lady who runs the runs the front desk for the morning shift is pleasant and polite. My room was very clean and sufficient to my needs. Breakfast is waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread and jellies, coffee, juice, milk, etc. It was a great stay!

The ENTIRE motel smelled like Marijuana. Very difficult to fall asleep with the amount of noise surrounding the inside and outside of the property.

Hotel sent a link for pre-check in. Filled out the link completely and submitted with confirmation and charge to credit card. Got to the hotel and still had to repeat the same process so don't bother with the link. Hotel was ok, nothing fancy. It was fine, we were just there to sleep.

The lights in the room didn't work by the bed the light by the door didn't work my keys kept blocking and wouldn't let me back in the room the bed was comfortable the room was clean the bathroom was clean the customer service was good

Staff was friendly. Convenient area for shopping and dining. Hotel was outdated and dirty. The lobby as well as our room smelled old and like smoke. We had a non smoking room, signs throughout facility stated no smoking, however, there was an ash tray in our room. The blankets were old and hard. Decent rate for our one night staff but overall look of hotel needs to be updated.
