La Quinta by Wyndham St. Louis Westport

I liked that the room was clean and the size of it. The staff was nice.

I didn’t like that the toilet we had to flush multiple times just to get everything to go down. Also didn’t like that it took a few minutes to get the tv to where we wanted due to the remote not working that well. Pushing the buttons multiple times just to get it to move to what we wanted to watch and getting the volume up on the tv as well.

The location was good. The breakfast was also decent. People keep complaining about needing more options but its a complimentary breakfast. Its free. And for it being that the options are fine and the eggs and sausage were warm. There weren't any bugs, so thats a plus. The staff were also friendly. I had issues with towels and while they forgot to bring stuff up, once I called the front desk they resolved the issue.

The wifi didn't reach our room. Was in room 323. The halls had stains like someone threw up and there was a lingerining smell. Like mildew. Our room had areas i just wanted to take a magic eraser and scrub. The bathroom door threw me off, and I didnt like the lack of ventilation in there or lighting. Also the feeling of the tub bothered me but that is a sensory thing.

Sorry to room wouldn't lock when shut, tv and part of lights didn't work, supposed to be breakfast buffet like all La Quintas but had waffles, horrible coffee and sausage that was not done. Maintenance did finally come fix for, tv and lights. Also only had 1 wash cloth. If I had never stayed in a LA Quinta before I would never stay at another one. This place gives that brand a bad name
