Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites

The location is perfect as it is close to the beach, harbor, shopping, and restaurants.

Location was perfect and hotel was quaint and lovely. Old, but updated with some new england charm. Staff was wonderful, so nice and the breakfast was delicious. Walls a bit thin, can here people in the hall, but I definitely recommend.

We just got back from staying at the Vineyard Square Hotel, and we had the best stay! We walked all around the Island over the past few days, and we strongly believe that the Vineyard Square Hotel was the best hotel we could have booked for our stay. Not only is the hotel in the perfect location for shopping, but it's in the perfect location relative to the bus, is around a ton of food options, and the entire experience was amazing. We spent a lot of time choosing where we would stay for our 3 nights, and we are so happy that we chose this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful, everything was clean (this is a big deal for us!), and the room was so comfortable including the bed. We can't wait to come back, and we definitely will be staying here again!

The “cozy” room was not only small, but in terrible condition. The mattress on the bed was old and sunken in the middle. The air conditioner was above the bed and quite noisy. Our room was drab and unattractive-and detracted from the loveliness of our Martha’s Vineyard experience. So disappointing.

The hotel was a perfect location in the middle of town within walking distance to shops, sites and restaurants. It is an old hotel that had been renovated years ago but is getting a bit tired and in need of some updating. The rooms are a bit smaller than I am accustomed to and the ceiling in our room was 7 feet tall. The breakfast was very nice with many baked items, croissants with ham and cheese, spinach and feta croissants, quiches and other items and of course coffee. Young college age students work the front desk so the service level lacks experience. Overall, a good hotel for the value but you need to dumb down your overall expectations.

The rooms are specified at least 500sf on expedia, and it turned the 2 queen bed room are at most 250sf, about half of the size specified. We were given the room right by the stairs on the second floor -- the busies foot traffic room. We asked for moving to another same type room or honor the 500 sf spec by upgrading us to a bigger room. The staff flatly lied that it was "full". We checked around most of the bigger rooms are unoccupied.

Our stay at Vineyard Square Hotel was wonderful. The location of the hotel was convenient for exploring Edgartown by foot. The room was small but quaint and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a really cute place to stay. There were a few modifications I assume because of covid 19, so I’m curious what it’s will be like in a few months. I loved everything about it it was a lovely stay.
